MECHANIC for the City of Altus Fleet Maintenance. Maintenance and repair of gasoline and diesel powered equipment. Skilled tasks in repair work, overhauling and maintenance on automobiles, trucks, heavy equipment, and other city equipment. Must have a valid Ok CDL, Class “B” drivers license within six months of hire, with acceptable driving record. Must be able to acquire automotive air conditioner recovery/recycling certification within six months of hire. Must be able to read and follow diagrams, schematics, and detailed instructions. Must have at least three years of experience. Specialized training in auto mechanics and/or vocational training in auto mechanics or equivalent work experience. Must provide own hand tools.
